May 26, 2020 - Kate Granger Awards for Compassionate Care 2020

The awards are held annually since 2014 across Europe and N.America, recognising outstanding compassionate care initiatives or projects. (sometimes known as the “Hello my name is….” campaign.

This year, in recognition of The Year of the Nurse and Midwife, we have focused all categories on Nursing and Midwifery Care. Category 1 will comprise an individual nurse and individual midwife winner; category 2 will be for a team or organisation comprised of nurses or midwives, or working in collaboration with them. Category 3 will be for best innovation in care, codesigned, led by or collaboration with nurses and midwives. Criteria include best clinical practice focused on improving care, patient experience, or compassionate care for patients.
Awards will be presented in the HIMSS and Health 2.0 European Conference in Helsinki in May 2020.
