Ascension Seton Nursing Research

10 nurses have been enrolled in the training and development programme. Our programme involves training nurses in a 1-year, scholarly clinical nursing research fellowship with an unconventional, entrepreneurship-based approach. Each research study is like a micro-business that requires imagination, strategy, and vision in the conception and business savvy in the execution. Thus, our training will incorporate principles of entrepreneurship and visionary thinking in addition to traditional scholarship and logistics of conducting research in a clinical setting. Through this programme, nurses will learn about leadership by developing new clinical knowledge in an interdisciplinary manner, disseminating findings through presentations and publications, and incorporating evidence into bedside practice.
