Cleveland Clinic

Cleveland Clinic will launch a 12-month residency program to support nurses promoted to Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM). The ANM role is often the first formal leadership role for young nurses. All ANMs hired in 2020 will be enrolled in the Residency and assigned to a cohort. Cohorts will meet quarterly to focus on four themes:
• Building Effective Teams
• Effective Communication
• Facilitating Change
• Promoting a Healthy Work Environment
Quarterly programs will include presentations, facilitated discussions, group activities, and networking. ANM residents will also be matched with an experienced ANM mentor who will offer guidance and support throughout the one-year program.
