As a paediatric nurse working in theatre.. I will teach and ensure nurses and doctors participate in infection prevention in theatre to improve surgical outcomes by preventing surgical site infections. Also ensure there are clear guidelines for nurses on management of surgical wounds post surgery for neonates and paediatrics that improve wound healing and reduced hospital stay.
20 nurses and midwives have been enrolled on this leadership development programme.
