On 29th September, the University of Maribor Faculty of Health Sciences will hold a conference, “Research and Education in Nursing”.
The conference will be divided into four sessions after the plenary session and will culminate in one final joint session. The lectures that will take part during the conference will be hosted by globally recognized, awarded and valued professors, researchers of Nursing Care Theories and Advanced Nursing Practice.
Among the speakers who will present during the conference are:
- Professor Jean Watson, a nurse theorist, best known for her theory of human caring and the founder of Watson Caring Science Institute.
- Professor Marlaine Cappelli Smith is devoted to two nursing areas: developing knowledge related to processes and outcomes of healing as well as analyzing, extending and applying existing nursing theories.
- Professor Marie Carney is an expert in management and leadership as well as Advanced Nurse and Midwife Practice
