The Queen’s Nursing Institute has announced a new nurse-led innovation programme for 2021.
The QNI has received funding from the Burdett Trust for Nursing to run a new programme specifically focusing on people with Complex Needs in Primary Care.
Up to 10 community nurse-led projects across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man will be selected by the QNI to receive funding. Project leaders will also receive a year-long programme of professional development to support them in delivering their project. They are actively looking to fund projects that are led by nurses from a BAME background.
The closing date for applications is 5 pm on 30th October 2020.
Please click here for more information and to download the guidance and application form.
Please note, if shortlisted, the nurse leading the project will be invited for a virtual interview on either 16th or 17th November 2020.
Successful applicants are asked to commit to six online workshops during the course of the project year (confirmed and provisional dates are in the Guidance document).
