100 nurses and midwives have been enrolled in the leadership development programme.
SWSLHD is committed to supporting and developing nursing and midwifery leaders of the future. This is demonstrated by the suite of programs which are available, at no cost to these staff. The programs range from workshops to nationally recognised qualifications. They include but are not limited to Transforming Your Experience Foundational Leadership Program, In-charge development program, CORE Chat – Our values in action, Application of Emotional Intelligence, Certificate IV and Diploma in Leadership and Management. In addition to the programs there will be mentoring and coaching to support them along their leadership journey.
