We will recruit and enrol 30 participants from South Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America in the Nightingale Challenge. Our curriculum will include a lecture series featuring nurse leaders (including Patricia Flatley Brennan, Barbara Stilwell, and Elizabeth Madigan), followed by a networking luncheon with these distinguished speakers during which Challenge participants will use specially developed course materials to engage in discussions on the role of nurses in leadership. The series will also be accessible in English and Spanish via Zoom or Skype. Evaluation will include a Qualtrics survey sent at the end of the program, and 6-month and 1-year follow-ups.
