Dr. Shyamaladevi, Chief Nursing Officer for the Vijaya group of hospitals, along with his team has accepted the Nightingale Challenge and will train 20 young nurses on “Nursing leadership and Management skills”.
This project will run for 70 hours which includes 30 hours of theory and 40 hours of on board practice. The training programme will last for six months starting from September 2019 and it includes formative and summative assessments.
The candidates will also participate in organising activities within the community, and guest speakers will be invited to give talks on various issues such as health disparities.
