Nursing Now invites Elizabeth Iro to discuss her personal journey into leadership 

Next week, on 11th December, Nursing Now will be joined by Elizabeth Iro, Chief Nursing Officer at the World Health Organization (WHO) during a webinar in which she will discuss her personal journey into leadership. 

The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Barbara Stilwell, Executive Director, Nursing Now and will be the final webinar in our 2019 series for Nightingale Challenge employers, participants and Nursing Now groups. 

The webinar will take the following format:

    • Welcome and introduction from Dr Barbara Stilwell, Executive Director, Nursing Now. 
    • Presentation Elizabeth Iro, Chief Nursing Officer, WHO 
    • Q&A

In her presentation, Elizabeth Iro will share an overview of her career and how her formative experiences and the early lessons have shaped her approach to leadership. She will also give her perspectives on what can be achieved by investing in the next generation of nurses and midwives as leaders, practitioners and advocates in health.

There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and, if you already have specific questions in mind, we ask that you submit these to nightingale@nursingnow.global along with your name, organisation and country, before 11th December. This will allow us to prepare and answer as many questions as possible during the webinar.
