Princess Muna Al Hussein shares message of support for nurses

Today, Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein, President of the Jordanian Nursing Council, World Health Organization Patron of Nursing and Midwifery in the Eastern Mediterranean Region, Champion for the Nursing Now Campaign and former Commissioner to the UN High-Level Commission on Health Employment and Economic Growth would like to express her appreciation to all nurses, midwives, physicians, health care providers and first responders in health care and emergency institutions all over the world for their relentless efforts in these difficult times and wish them health and safety.

I would like to thank you all personally for the wonderful and vital job you are doing in these very difficult times. My heart goes out to you and your families for all you are doing to care for people and keep the world safe.
 
Nurses and midwives, you have already crowned your 2020 Year of the Nurse and the Midwife with your courage, compassion, and dedication to patients and the global community. 

So proud of you all. May God keep you all safe and may He bless you all. Your health and safety are very important to us all.”
