UKONS are organising a virtual educational event hosted by The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, offered to all young cancer/early-career nurses.

The aim is to build a network of support and provide free educational events to guide early-career nurses who may want to pursue a career in cancer nursing.

This event predominately focuses on the events of 2020, exploring the current pandemic as well as presenting new initiatives to promote and progress cancer nurses. The programme includes talks about COVID from the perspective of those who worked at the Nightingale Hospital, what COVID means for cancer care and treatment in the future and the development and progression a career in cancer nursing can offer.

During this event, Nightingale Challenge Programme Director, Professor Lisa Bayliss-Pratt, and Nightingale Challenge Fellow, Matt Daley will be discussing the Nightingale Challenge and the milestones reached during this first year of this global movement.

The event starts at 16:00 (BST), 09 September 2020, and will finish at 18:30 (BST).
